WORTH THE EFFORT
This evening as I stood photographing the sun's decline behind the hills, I turned around and noticed a most lovely full moon staring back at me.
I drove up to the stop sign, turned off the car, and grabbed my camera as I stepped out of the car. I realised any of my attempts at capturing this beauty of nature before me would pale in comparison to what I saw with my own eyes but it was worth the effort.
Making time to preserve a moment is akin to investing time to work on relationships which matter most to us. We might have to step aside to change our view or change the lens on the camera, but the time we take to make things right is worth the effort in the end.
