FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT
School is out. Summer is here. A new movie has premiered tonight for us to see.
My son and I made it to the movie theatre just as the lights were dimming. We were all sitting in the back row at the top. The rest of the family already having settled in. All seven of us, including the baby was there, sitting in the corner reclining seat.
The children had introduced me to Bob’s Burgers about two years ago. When we moved to this 2-bedroom apartment. After watching it, I was convinced this was not meant for children. But they had been watching it since 2016.
Sage and I had caught up with the latest two episodes, so we were ready to see the movie. I sat next to him and his older sister, with my other daughter to the left of her. They ordered food to eat. My son enjoyed his burger and fries, as well as the popcorn. He mentioned that they never had ordered so much food before.
The story of the movie was a good one, dealing with the end of the school year and the start of summer. Timewise, the movie amounted to about five episodes. Plenty of time to enjoy a rare family movie night.
