NEVER THE SAME
This morning’s sunrise looked exactly as I had captured it two mornings ago. One could easily mistake the photos as being the same. Yet, they were not. Interestingly, when I looked at the time the photos were taken, I noticed they were only one minute apart. Sunday’s photo was taken at 07:03 and this morning’s image was timestamped at 07:04. Quite unintentional.
In a similar manner, our days can sometimes seem as if they are a repeat of the day before. With nothing new happening. Similar to the daily occurrences portrayed in the scenes of the movie Groundhog Day, where Phil restarts the same day in the same manner but with a gradual shift of his actions each time. And with that shift, he eventually breaks free from the cycle of madness.
Though we may feel like every day is the same, there will always be that little something that is different. Something that adds to our collective thoughts and leads to actions. All of which then causes us to evolve into the humans that we become. Whether that is a slight change in routine, a text received from a friend, or some interesting article on Cloudberries, our days are never the same.
