NOVEMBER

First day of November. When time accelerates towards the end of the year at lightning speed. When the children begin to have an increasing number of days off from school. When we wonder if we might have a chance of seeing snow this year.

November is a time of slowing down. When we ‘fall back’ in time and gain an extra hour. At least here in the States when Daylight Savings time ends this coming weekend.

The 30 days of November are an in-between time. The ending of Autumn, but not quite Winter. The start of cozy season. A great month to stay home and read the piles of books stacked on the bedside table.
