SOMETHING MORE

A blank page stares back at me, wanting to be filled. But the thoughts are not making their way from heart to brain to fingers on the keyboard to press the right combination of letters to make the words which would make sense.

A numbness sets in. An acceptance. That things have to be this way until another one is found. Until a path is cleared through the forest of thoughts.

So much to do. The mundaneness of everyday life. Yet, the desire to get them done is not there. In its stead is a flicker of light. Of hope. An ever so small flame, but it is there. A desire for creativity. For soulful living. For something more.
